Avalanche

Avalanche is a layer one blockchain that serves as a platform for decentralized applications. Another Ethereum competitor, vying to become the most popular blockchain for smart contracts. It aims to achieve this by increasing transaction output to 6,500 per second without compromising scalability.

Avalanche’s unique architecture allows this. Three blockchains make up the Avalanche network: X-Chain, C-Chain, and P-Chain.
