The Graph

The Graph is an indexing technology for networks like Ethereum and IPFS that powers numerous DeFi and Web3 apps. It is possible to create and publish open APIs (subgraphs) for GraphQL to query blockchain data. The Graph now has a hosted service in production, and the decentralized network will debut later this year. Other networks will be added shortly.

A huge number of developers have already launched subgraphs for DApps like Uniswap, Synthetix, Aragon, AAVE, Gnosis, Balancer, Livepeer, DAOstack, Decentraland, etc. The Graph use grew by over 50% MoM in September 2020, reaching over 7 billion inquiries.

By October 2020, the Graph will have over 200 Indexer Nodes on the testnet and over 2,000 Curators on the Curator Program. Ecosystem members, key VCs and significant persons in the blockchain community contributed funding to The Graph’s network growth. The Graph Foundation has completed a public GRT Sale with 99 nations participating (not including the U.S.). By November 2020, The Graph has raised over $25M.
